This selection includes a vineyard selection kékfrankos from the cool climate Eger region, a premium selection of hand-picked organic grapes grown in the limestone and unique micro-climate of Sopron, and a special blanc de noirs vintage, which is a unique white wine made from this red grape.

BOLYKI Egri Kékfrankos 2019

Kékfrankos is one of Hungary's principal red grape varieties, and this vineyard selection from hand-picked berries is a dynamic powerhouse of a wine.

Deep ruby colour and spicy nose with floral aromas. Savoury palate with searing acidity and a tight tannic structure. Red and black fruits on the palate, especially blackcurrant, are accompanied by fragrant, floral notes of violets and lavender. A rich and powerful vintage with plenty of ageing potential.

STEIGLER Organic Soproni Kékfrankos 2022 

Kékfrankos feels especially at home in the cool-climate Sopron region, and Soproni Kékfrankos is now widely regarded as a premium quality red wine with plenty of potential.

This is a rich and elegant medium-bodied organic red wine that combines grapes harvested from the Steiner and Steiger vineyards. It is classic deep ruby with purple shades. A cavalcade of red and black fruit on the palate, rounded out by spicy notes from the oak barrel ageing. Zesty acidity and medium tannins make this a complex yet easy-drinking vintage.

A truly unique white wine made from the native Kékfrankos red grape, this special blanc de noirs vintage is perfect to surprise your wine-loving friends. The grape skins are immediately removed during pressing to minimise skin contact, and the wine is finely filtered before bottling for perfect clarity.
